Potted plantCuttings:

Fill a pot with compost, make a hole in it and insert the cutting. Carefully firm the compost around the cutting with your fingertips. Water thoroughly and leave the pot to drain.

Potting on:

Potting-on is best done in spring, when the plant will be actively growing. Put an inch or two of compost in a pot. Remove the plant from its old pot by turning it upside down and gently tapping the rim. Put the plant in the new pot and add compost. Firm the compost with your fingertips, leaving room at the top of the pot for watering.
Water the plant and allow it to drain.

Feeding:

Growise Houseplant & Pot Plant Compost contains all the nutrients that plants need for the first 5-6 weeks. From then on, feed them with a soluble feed, following the directions on the container.

Caring for pot plants:

Growise Houseplant & Pot Plant compost will be most successful when you keep your plants in a position where they receive plenty of light but are away from draughts. Never leave pots standing in water as this can lead to root rot.

Growise Houseplant & Pot Plant Compost is not suitable for ericaceous plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias. For this group of plants you should use Growise Ericaceous Compost.
