Chicken Manure Pellets

What it does:

Growise Chicken Manure Pellets are a general purpose plant food which provide the major nutrients required for strong healthy growth. It is easy to apply and can be added to the soil before planting or scattered around established plants. Used regularly Growise Chicken Manure Pellets will enrich the soil and boost soil fertility to sustain vigorous healthy plant growth.

Various flowers and vegetablesBefore planting or sowing

  1. Ensure that the area is free of weeds and that the soil is moist.
  2. Sprinkle pellets evenly over the whole area being planted or sown at a rate of 150g per square metre and work lightly into the surface soil.
  3. When planting tomatoes dig 25g of pellets into the planting hole.
  4. When planting roses and shrubs dig 150g of pellets into the planting hole.

Feeding established plants

  1. Ensure that the area is free of weeds and that the soil is moist.
  2. In spring and summer sprinkle pellets evenly onto the soil around established plants and crops at a rate of 100g per square metre at 4-6 weekly intervals.
  3. To feed tomatoes use about 25g of pellets per plant when the first fruit is visible.
  4. To feed established flowering shrubs and roses use about 150g of pellets per plant when first flower buds appear and feed again 4-6 weeks later.
  5. Water well after feeding.

Feeding lawns

  1. Ensure that the soil is moist before feeding.
  2. In spring, sprinkle pellets evenly over the lawn at a rate of 50g per square metre. Feed twice more during the summer with 8 weeks between applications at a rate of 35g per square metre.
  3. Water well after feeding.
