Bord na Móna Growise Enriched Top Soil is carefully selected and graded for use throughout the year. It is a premium mix which has excellent texture for use in the garden. Our top soil is weed, pest and disease free.

Instructions for use
Lawn dressing:
In late Autumn, spread a fine layer of Bord na Móna Growise Enriched Top Soil across the top of a lawn and lightly rake between the grass.
Damaged lawn areas:
Divots, wheel ruts and pest damage can soon be repaired. Remove the damaged area carefully. Rebuild to the correct depth using Bord na Móna Growise Enriched Top Soil, reseed with a grass seed mix to match the original lawned area.
Creating beds, borders and raised gardens:
Bord na Móna Growise Enriched Top Soil is ideal when it is required to build up beds and borders. Spread it over the needed area and rake to a level required.
Planting of trees and shrubs:
Use Bord na Móna Growise Rose, Tree & Shrub Compost when bedding in the root ball, then a top layer of Bord na Móna Growise Enriched Top Soil to aid stability until established. Also adds extra nutrients too!
Containers and pots:
Suggestion: with tall plants or where plant containers and pots may be subjected to wind, mix approximately 25% top soil with your normal compost mix. This will add stability, as well as providing nutrients and increased moisture retention.
